November 2011 - The Northern New Jersey Saint Bernard Club was pleased to represent the Saint Bernard Club of America at this years AKC "Meet The Breeds" event, held at the Jacob Javits center in New York City, November 19 & 20, 2011. Club members participated with their Saints and greeted thousands of visitors. So many people stopped we were three deep waiting and it began to back up the visitor flow.

The Club Picnic will be held onJune 12, 2011 at Overpeck County Park in Leonia, NJ.   Come out and join us for a nice day in the park and be sure to bring your dog(s) with you! The June meeting will be held at this event. Looking forward to seeing you all there.

Educational Outreach - On March 10^th 2011 Sandi and Bill took two Saints (A-Jay & Polaris) to the Jefferson Township Middle School for a presentation on the history of Saint Bernards. The School requested the presentation as a wrap-up to the class' reading of Jack London's 'Call Of The Wild'. The event was covered by Jefferson Patch a local on-line news service. 2011 Activities will include a Club Picnic on June 12th, Hosting two regional Pre-Shows at the SBCA National - Peek & Peak Resort in Findlay Lake NY on Sept 12th, and two Independent Specialty Shows on October 9th at the picnic area of Overpeck County Park in Leonia NJ. The Club will also be at the Javits Center in Novermber for the AKC Meet The Breeds event. Come on out and support your Club - and have a great time too!

The Club Picnic was May 16th, 2010 at Overpeck Park in Leonia. Members and friends enjoyed coffee and donuts courtesy of the club. A presentation on Draft Work / Carting was given by Tom Nuss of the Middle Atlantic Saint bernard Club, followed by a picnic lunch, then a second presentation on Rally by Betty Elvidge, also Of Middle Atlantic. January 2010 - Club activities for the year are tentatively planned to include a park day / picnic in May, AKC Meet the breeds at the Javits Center, and Specialty shows in September.

January 2010 - The club held it's annual holiday party on January 10th at the Grand Chalet in Wayne NJ. Members and friends enjoyed a buffet style dinner as well as socializing with fellow members and their guests. The January club meeting was also held.

November 2009 - The Greater Northeast Saint Bernard Extravaganza took place on November 13, 14, and 15th at Paws 'N Effect in Hamden CT. Our club, along with the Saint Bernard Club of the Finger Lakes, and the New England Saint Bernard Club hosted this event of 5 shows. Participation was excellent with majors in both dogs and bitches being four or five points for all shows.

October 2009 - The Northern New Jersey Saint Bernard Club was pleased to represent the Saint Bernard Club of America at the AKC's "Meet The Breeds" event.
